Your emptiness is costing you millions.
It was the role everyone wanted.
Big team. Big title. The power, the recognition.
At 29, I had it all—a CFO title, a Burj Khalifa view, and enough money to buy things I didn’t even need.
This was supposed to be the moment I could finally say:
"I made it."
But instead, I sat in my apartment staring at the skyline, asking myself:
🔹 Why doesn’t this feel as good as I thought it would?
🔹 Why do I feel nothing instead of celebrating?
🔹 Did I really sacrifice my personal life… for this?
🔹 What happens if I keep going like this?
I had worked insane hours to get here.
I gave up weekends, relationships, sleep.
I did everything I was supposed to do.
So why am I feeling so sad?
This was emptiness.
That sinking realization that no amount of money, titles, or external success was going to fill the gap I felt inside.
-> The view of my appartment when I was feeling at my lowest.
The Shift
Without work, I had nothing.
No real vision. No sense of self.
Just a career that had defined my entire life.
I wanted more.
Not more money.
Not a bigger title.
Not another trophy to chase.
I wanted more to life.
But I had no idea what that even meant.
For years, I thought success was the answer.
That if I just kept winning—if I kept pushing harder—I’d eventually feel at peace.
Until I read something from Dr. Joe Dispenza that stopped me cold:
“When your life is over, and you can no longer rely on your external world to define you, you will be left with the feeling you’ve never addressed.”
That hit me.
I imagined myself at 90 years old, telling my story to my kids.
Would I tell them about my title? My salary? My office view?
Or would I have nothing real to say?
Now that I am looking at it, I can also tell you that I wasn’t just feeling off.
I was operating at a fraction of my real potential.
I was constantly frustrated, snapping at people over small things.
I stopped seeing possibilities and only saw problems.
I hesitated on decisions that used to be automatic.
I was making money… but I wasn’t making real progress.
And if you think this isn’t costing you millions?
Think again.
Because when you operate at half capacity, you get half the results.
The Playbook
The 3-Question framework to realign your life.
If you don’t want to wake up 5 years from now in the exact same place, start here:
1. If I had all the money in the world, what would I do?
Strip away financial pressure.
What would you actually spend your time on?
Where would your energy go?
If the answer isn’t what you’re doing now, that’s a red flag.
-> You need to trust yourself. You've build a career, you can build another one.
2. By staying in my current situation, am I being the person I value?
Forget external success.
Would the version of yourself that you respect the most approve of how you’re living today?
If not, something needs to change.
-> As Mel Robin said: "Let them" : The book is here
3. If my kid were in the exact same situation, what advice would I give them?
It’s easy to justify staying where you are.
But if someone you love was feeling this same emptiness, what would you tell them?
The answer is usually exactly what you need to do next.
-> Learn to be your own best friends, no one is coming to save you.
The cost of ignoring this
If you don’t fix the internal gap, here’s what’s coming:
- You’ll lose your sharpness—playing it safe instead of making bold moves.
- You’ll second-guess yourself instead of leading with confidence.
- You’ll hold back while others take the opportunities (and the rewards).
And worst of all?
You’ll wake up 10 years from now, still grinding, still chasing… and still empty.
I already know that’s not enough for you.
So what’s your next move?
